Match.com Partners with Dallas Mavericks to Provide Dating and Relationship Channel on the Mavericks Official Web Site

Two Singles Will Win Dinner Dates With A Mavs Player or Dancer in Current Mavs Match.com Zone Sweepstakes

DALLAS, TX- The NBA's Dallas Mavericks and Dallas-based Match.com, the global leader in online dating, have teamed up to create a relationship channel, Mavs Match.com Zone, powered by Match.com and hosted on the Mavericks official Web site, dallasmavericks.com. Single Mavericks fans visiting the team's site for information about upcoming games, players, stats or to purchase game tickets now have the opportunity to search for other Mavs fans and romance on the site. Match.com is the exclusive provider of personals for the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs Match.com Zone gives registered Zone members exclusive access to upcoming promotions like the "Win A Date With A Player/Dancer Sweepstakes," which began on Friday, April 2.

Singles at least 21 years old are eligible to enter the sweepstakes to win a special date by logging on to dallasmavericks.com and clicking on the Mavs Match.com Zone through April 19, 2004. The Dallas Mavericks have selected 1 (one) professional basketball player, Jon Stefansson, and 1 (one) Dallas Mavericks dancer, Lindsay Shoulders, to be paired with the eligible winning man and woman, respectively. The dinner date for each couple will include limo transportation to and from dinner.

The Win A Date With A Player/Dancer Sweepstakes is one of several exciting promotions for singles that will result from the partnership between the Mavs and Match.com. The first promotion, "Mavs Match.com Zone VIP Date Night," awarded a Match.com member and his date with a limo ride to and from the Saturday, April 3 Mavericks home game, along with game tickets and dinner for two in American Airlines Center's Platinum Club.
