5/20/2004 Online Dating Site Uniquely Positions Itself to Women Cherish.com Becomes First and Only Site to Extend Free Lifetime Memberships to Women RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C-Cherish.com, a premier online dating site, today announced it will extend free lifetime memberships to women. In a marketplace where many online dating sites are geared toward men, Cherish.com is being marketed to women and as such is extending females free memberships. The site offers a fun, safe and exciting environment for online dating using its advanced search technology, which matches key characteristics among members. Cherish also gives its members the ability to define who has access to their profile. Cherish.com Founder, Pat Martin, believes the marketplace is ready for a site that welcomes and encourages women to join the online dating community. "Women think many of the online dating sites are targeted toward men and find the sites impersonal. Cherish.com will address the needs and concerns of women, and the first step is to extend complimentary memberships to all women," stated Martin. Martin launched the site late last year following his experiences with online dating. Since the launch, Cherish.com has been offering free service to both men and women. However, the site will begin to charge male members a monthly fee of $19.95 within the next six months. "While providing a fun, safe environment for women, I am confident Cherish.com will also attract men who want to be a part of a site with a large female membership base," continued Martin. |
