She has also served as media coach, scriptwriter, and producer of medical videos taped at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. She currently teaches corporate scriptwriting in the Graduate English Department of Towson University. Ms. Allen is the founder of Celebrating Single Seminars, workshops for singles taught in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. The owner of Upper Crust, a catering company in Baltimore, she also conducts cooking classes for singles at Fresh Fields grocery stores. She resides in Baltimore, Maryland.
