Match.com Launches 25 International Dating Sites with Local Language and Currency Support

DALLAS, TX- Match.com, a global leader in online dating, today announced the launch of 25 international local-language dating sites, with plans to launch additional sites before the end of the year. Supporting local languages and currencies, the new Match.com sites are built on the Soulmates Technology platform, acquired by Match.com earlier this year. "Internationally, online dating represents a largely untapped market that we are aggressively pursuing with the launch of Match.com-branded, localized sites," said Tim Sullivan, president of Match.com. With the launch of the international Match.com sites and continued growth domestically, Match.com's personals businesses now claim more than 5 million members with profiles posted globally, one million of which are outside North America.
