Learn To Change With The Love

Everyone knows that there are all types of love. There is the love you have for your parents, brother and sister, a friend, your grandparents, pet and the ever so popular, love for a companion. But even within these different types of love there is a deeper break down. While you love your both parents equally, you could love them differently. Same thing with companions, you could love one person differently and for diverse reasons than you love another, but the love could be just as strong for both.
Love among to people also changes all the time, and if you can't learn to evolve and grow with the love you are doomed to get stuck or fail over and over again.

You could see this transformation a lot in relationships. When you two first started dating, you may have had lots of passion and lust. Just the very sight of the person could make you feel alive. The sound of their voice on the phone made you walk around with your cell phone in hand anticipating a call.

But as the relationship grows, the love changes. People often confuse this with love dying. It doesn't die, it just morphs. You are getting used to things. You are learning each other's patterns and that's ok. Don't flip out. Just learn to appreciate smaller things about the person. Appreciate that he knows what drink to order you even though you haven't told them. Or the fact that they know what time to start dinner so it is ready when you get home. The excitement of getting to know one another could change to the excitement of now knowing each other. It's a wonderful thing if you think about it.

Besides, sometimes that dizzying love you felt at the beginning is not such a great thing. Remember how nothing else but that person made you want to wake up in the morning. Not work, or friends. Imagine how secluded you two would be if you were stuck together in this fashion. Life around you would cease to exist. This may sound nice but how would you pay the bills or what would happen to your family or friends who would miss you. Also, this obsession could drive you to the brink of madness when your other half was not in the vicinity. You would have no reason to exist. This is what makes the change so wonderful. You get to experience both worlds. The part that knows love and the rest of the world.
