Survey Finds That 64% of Singles Dating Would Not Go On A First Date To The Beach

Where do Singles dating go to meet other Singles dating during the hot summer months? It's Just Lunch, the premier dating service for busy professionals with 65 locations worldwide, surveyed 2,140 Singles dating nationwide and found that 66% of Singles dating think a BBQ is the best place to meet someone during the summer.

IJL's survey found that when Singles dating weren't at BBQ's to meet people, they were meeting people at the Beach (10%), a bar (17%) or at a baseball game (7%).

The survey also found that 56% of Singles dating think their favorite summertime date is dinner at sunset. 14% of Singles dating favor a date cheering on their local baseball team and 13% take their dates on picnics.

Are Singles dating heading to the beach for first dates? The answer—No. 64% of Singles dating said they would not go on a first date to the beach. Of women who would go to the beach on a first date, 53% say they would wear a one piece swimsuit and 8% say they would wear sweats and a sweatshirt. 91% of men who would go to the beach on a first date say they would like to see their beach date wear a bikini.

Do Singles dating find romance during the hot summer months? 58% of single have had summer flings, however, they are not lasting very long. 50% of summer flings last until Labor Day, 39% last a whole month, and 11% last only a week.
