No, they are not marriage wreckers nor are they wicked step moms! They are women in second marriages trying to make the blended family/second marriage situation work! Second Wives on the Net announces today the launch of its' web site, located at secondwives.net ; Second Wives on the Net was founded by Theresa Szczepanski of the USA. Second Wives on the Net currently consists of over 50 members from USA, Canada, and Australia. Members are sometimes 'first time mothers' to their husbands children, some members come from their own first marriages, and some are first time wives to husbands who have had been through a divorce either one, two or even three marriages. All members share a common ground. They all deal with the ever growing trend of divorce and remarriage complexities that first marriages do not have to face. A lot of the members go through what we call the "Second Marriage Syndrome" which is a feeling women get in second marriages that make them feel unimportant, like their marriage means nothing because they don't have children with their husbands who have children with their ex's which leaves women in second marriages with a feeling of the need to compete with the ex wives, we work hard at making every women and man in our club feel and know that they are important and most importantly "First"

Second Wives on the Net offers members a multitude of ways to connect and relate online. Biographies are shared, live chats, bulletin boards, and an e-mail discussion list. Second Wives on the Net's web pages are numerous. They include "Book reviews, self-improvement, general resources for blended families, monthly newsletters, a welcoming committee, a celebrate special occasions committee, an area for male members, a garage sale page where members can post items for sale to other members, a place for members children called 'Children's Corner where kids can find fun things to do as well as a children's email discussion group. Second Wives on the Net also holds a contest every 6 months, sometimes more! And have been going through a face lift and have added many new things to the site. They now offer fun things to do for kids and helpful information to parents even if you are not a member! shopping resources and so much more! They offer many articles relating to the trials, tribulations and successes of second marriages and step-parenting.
